萧四希，1962 年生,湖南隆回人，现为中国工艺美术家协会名誉主席，中国书画名家研究会名誉主席，中国国学学会副主席，世界教科组织联合协会副主席，世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长，瑞典皇家艺术院荣誉博士，英国皇家艺术院荣誉院士，香港书法院名誉院长，国际羲之书画院荣誉教授，国家一级书画家。自幼受家父熏陶，学习书法，中学毕业后参加工作，利用业余时间研习书法、诗文，遍临王羲之、王献之、孙过庭、颜真卿等历代名家法帖，对书法、国画情有独钟。1993 年考入湖南省轻工业高等专科学校(长沙理工大学)，学习工艺美术专业，对书法与国画进行系统学习，毕业后从事广告宣传工作，兼习书法与国画，2004 年后进行专业创作，先后荣获书画奖 50 多项，作品入编《二十世纪中国著名书画家》、《世界美术大典》等 200 多部辞书。2010 年、2012 年、2013 年荣获感动中国十大艺术人物，2014 年荣获中国艺术十大领军人物，2015 年入选《新中国国学艺术大师传记》(徐悲鸿、启功、范曾、萧四希合集)，2016 年参加中、俄、朝国际艺术大师三人行中国展览，参加中国书画名家曲阜三人展，荣获“孔子国际文化至尊奖”,2019 年庆祝新中国成立 70 周年萧四希世界邮票全球发行,出版有《国家艺术人物萧四希专刊》、《风范一品大家》、《翰墨书香》、《艺海同舟》、《当代风云人物》、《艺术之巅》及《向人民汇报》——中国邮政当代艺术大家〈郑板桥、潘天寿、李可染、萧四希)四人典藏册。2021 年参加“百年荣光,兴我中华”——国礼艺术名家萧四希陶瓷作品典藏献礼。俄罗斯《真理报》发表《中国名家名作出国门》，北京与俄罗斯―一国家德艺双馨艺术家萧四希作品。2022 年出版发行《中国当代艺术名家萧四希国礼典藏邮册》。2023 年《光明日报》艺术界领军人物一一萧四希专刊报道。入选国际峰会《金砖艺术家》中国代表。授予“国礼艺术家”，“功勋艺术家”荣誉称号。2024 年《人民代表报》重点报道，入选《艺脉传承》萧四希北京地铁展播，庆祝建国 75 周年著名艺术家全国高铁巡展，震撼登录美国纽约时代广场，荣获“2024 年诺贝尔艺术奖”，“莫奈国际艺术金奖”，“达芬奇终身成就奖“，”毕加索国际艺术金奖”，“中国美术终身成就奖”，中国书画终身成就奖”，入选“红墙艺术家”。
Xiao Sixi, born in Longhui, Hunan in 1962, iscurrently the honorary chairman of the China Artsand Crafts Artists Association, the honorarychairman of the China Calligraphers and PaintersResearch Association, the vice chairman of theChina National Studies Society, the vice chairmanof the World Federation of Educational, Scientificand Cultural Organizations, the vice president ofthe World Intangible Cultural Heritage ResearchInstitute, the honorary doctorate of the RoyalSwedish Academy of Arts, the honoraryacademician of the Royal Academy of Arts, thehonorary president of the Hong Kong CalligraphyAcademy, the honorary professor of theInternational Xizhi Calligraphy and PaintingAcademy, and a national first-class calligrapher andpainter. From a young age, I was influenced by myfather and learned calligraphy. After graduatingfrom high school, I started working and used myspare time to study calligraphy, poetry, andliterature. I have been exposed to famouscalligraphers such as Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi,Sun Guoting, and Yan Zhenqing, and have a specialfondness for calligraphy and traditional Chinesepainting. In 1993, I was admitted to Hunan LightIndustry Vocational College (Changsha Universityof Science and Technology) to study arts and crafts.I systematically studied calligraphy and traditionalChinese painting, and after graduation, I worked inadvertising and publicity, also studying calligraphyand traditional Chinese painting. Since 2004, I havebeen engaged in professional creation and havewon more than 50 calligraphy and painting awards. My works have been included in more than 200dictionaries such as "Famous Chinese Calligraphersand Painters of the 20th Century" and "World ArtEncyclopedia". In 2010, 2012, and 2013, he washonored as one of the Top Ten Art Figures thatMoved China. In 2014, he was honored as one ofthe Top Ten Leading Figures in Chinese Art. In 2015,he was selected for the "Biographies of Masters ofChinese Traditional Art in New China" (a collectionof Xu Beihong, Qi Gong, Fan Zeng, and Xiao Sixi). In2016, he participated in the three personexhibition of international art masters from China,Russia, and North Korea, as well as the threeperson exhibition of Chinese calligraphy andpainting masters in Qufu. He was awarded the"Confucius International Cultural Supreme Award".In 2019, Xiao Sixi's world stamps celebrating the70th anniversary of the founding of New Chinawere issued globally, and he published "SpecialIssue on National Art Figures Xiao Sixi", Top of Art"and" Report to the People "- Collection of FourContemporary Art Masters from China Post: ZhengBanqiao, Pan Tianshou, Li Keran, Xiao Sixi. In 2021,participated in the "Centennial Glory, RevitalizingChina" - a collection of ceramic works byrenowned Chinese artist Xiao Sixi. The Russiannewspaper "Pravda" published "Chinese FamousWorks Going Abroad", featuring works by Xiao Sixi,an artist from Beijing and Russia who excels inboth morality and art. Publish and distribute the"Collection of Chinese Contemporary Art MasterXiao Sixi's National Gifts" in 2022. In 2023, Xiao Sixi,a leading figure in the art world, was featured inthe special issue of Guangming Daily. Selected asthe Chinese representative for the internationalsummit 'BRICS Artists'. Confer the honorary titlesof "National Gift Artist" and "Meritorious Artist". In2024, the People's Representative Daily reportedthat Xiao Sixi was selected for the Beijing subwayexhibition of "Artistic Inheritance" and the famousartist's national high-speed rail tour to celebratethe 75th anniversary of the founding of thePeople's Republic of China. He was shocked andlanded in Times Square, New York, and won the"2024 Nobel Prize in Art","Monet International ArtGold Award","Da Vinci Lifetime AchievementAward","Picasso International Art Gold Award","Chinese Art Lifetime Achievement Award","Chinese Painting and Calligraphy LifetimeAchievement Award". He was also selected as a"Red Wall Artist".
